How to use the ApeX referral code

Click any "Claim 20% off" button on this page. It opens ApeX Omni's invitation page on the main app domain (omni.apex.exchange) with our referral already applied — using the link rather than typing the code by hand removes the most common failure mode, which is a typo or an empty code field at sign-up.

If you'd rather navigate to apex.exchange yourself, that works too: start the sign-up flow and look for the invitation code (sometimes labelled referral code) field, then enter save20 exactly, in lowercase.

ApeX Omni gives you two ways in. You can connect an existing crypto wallet such as MetaMask, or you can register with an email address, which creates a self-custodial embedded wallet for you — the private key remains exportable, so the account is still yours even without a seed phrase. Either way there is no KYC — no passport photos, no proof of address, no waiting for approval.

Neither option requires a deposit to complete sign-up. You can create the account, confirm the code is attached, and only fund it later when you're ready to trade.

The invitation link applies our referral for you, so the account is created with the discount attached — you shouldn't need to type anything. If you navigated to ApeX another way and the invitation/referral code field is empty, paste save20 in before completing the flow.

This step matters because referral codes on ApeX attach to the account at creation. It's the one moment where thirty seconds of attention is worth 20% off every trading fee you'll ever pay on the platform.

That's the whole process. From your first trade onward, the 20% discount is deducted from your perp trading fees automatically at execution. There is no rebate to claim, no monthly voucher, and no minimum volume to maintain.

In concrete numbers: ApeX Omni's base perp fees are 0.02% maker and 0.05% taker. With save20 applied you effectively pay 0.016% and 0.04%. Referral codes are designed for new accounts, and ApeX binds them at sign-up. If you already trade on ApeX Omni under an account with no code (or a lower-rate code), you generally can't retroactively attach save20 to it.

What some traders do in that situation is start fresh with a new wallet and sign up through the referral link — since ApeX Omni has no KYC, an account is just a wallet connection. Whether that's worth it depends on how much you trade: at meaningful volume, 20% off fees compounds quickly.

Most ApeX referral codes you'll find pass on a 10% trader discount. ApeX's affiliate program also has elevated tiers for partners, and codes issued under those terms can carry a larger trader-side discount.

save20 is one of those elevated codes: 20% off perp trading fees, double the usual rate. It's the same official ApeX program, just a higher tier — which is exactly the kind of thing most referral-code sites never explain.

One caveat we'd rather over-communicate: the referral discount doesn't stack with ApeX's VIP fee tiers. If your volume qualifies you for a VIP rate that beats the discounted rate, ApeX simply gives you the better of the two.
