What would save20 change?

The invitation has separate discount and cashback fields. The effective account benefit remains unverified, so no assumed referral saving is deducted.

Inspect the evidence and missing account terms

A worked example you can check

At the published 0.05% base taker rate, $100,000 of total executed volume costs $50 in trading fees. At the 0.02% base maker rate it costs $20. A volume mix split equally between the two costs $35. These are baseline examples, not confirmed save20 account rates.

Opening and closing both count

A $50,000 taker fill to open and a $50,000 taker fill to close produce $100,000 of volume and $50 in base trading fees. A different exit price changes the closing notional. Leverage changes the relationship between margin and notional; it does not remove the fee on the executed volume.

Verify any referral saving in your account

ApeX's invitation displays discount and cashback separately. Check the assigned trading fee and any separate cashback conditions. VIP and referral discounts do not stack under the published VIP rules.

Frequently asked questions

Does this calculator include a save20 discount?

No. It estimates the published base maker/taker fee. A public invitation display does not establish your actual account benefit, so no referral deduction is assumed.

Should I enter my margin or my trading volume?

Enter total executed notional, including opening and closing fills. For example, opening a $50,000 position and closing the same notional adds up to $100,000 of volume.

What costs are excluded?

Funding, spread, slippage, deposits, withdrawals and liquidation costs are excluded. The calculator is a fee illustration, not a forecast of trading profit or total cost.

Can limit orders pay taker fees?

Yes. A limit order that immediately matches existing liquidity can be a taker order. Maker and taker describe the liquidity role of each fill, not just the order’s name.
